This week, we recognize and say thank you to our teachers and supporting staff who dedicate their time and talents with the students and their families at Our Lady of Lourdes School.
We thank our teachers who dedicate their school days and beyond in preparing their students for the future.
Their days include:

- Assess students’ strengths, weaknesses and adapting lessons to maximize the child’s learning potential.
- Skill assessments, review, grading and sharing feedback with students.
- Preparing report cards, parent/teacher conferences and parent communication (newsletters or one-on-one discussions)
- Identify and form learning groups in their classroom for differentiation needs to maximize instruction time.
- Professional development for new materials, change in standards or curriculum.
- Learning Communities, where teachers are working together to share best practices to benefit the students.
- Staff meetings, a time to share and plan for various events with school and parish.
- Faith/Prayer time
- Advisors for extra curricululars.
- Educational learning opportunities as they develop additional skills/specialties in partnership with various colleges, GRACE, Diocesan, CESA7 or other organizations.
This week and always, we give a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our teachers, aides, specialists, school office personnel and principals who dedicate themselves for the benefit of our students.
