Oh Come, Let Us Sing to the Lord

The ‘Arts’ are truly a gift that every student should have the opportunity to learn and participate.

In middle school, the students are members of the Band or Choir throughout the school year. On October 17, the middle school choir (grades 6-8) left the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church campus and joined choir students from six of the GRACE schools at St. Norbert College.

Throughout the day, there were rehearsals with a culminating concert with the St. Norbert College Chamber Choir.

We appreciate the efforts of all GRACE music teachers and St. Norbert College educators and professionals for providing this learning opportunity.

“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!” ~ Psalm 95:1-2

*NEW* Track It Forward

We have made tracking your volunteer hours much simpler while also providing anytime access to the hours you have already logged. Track It Forward (TIF) is the new intuitive and easy-to-use online platform for tracking all your OLOL volunteer hours – TSF, Light Up Lourdes, and Athletics.

Step 1: Option B (refer to instructions here)

As TSF hours are measured by the household, each household has one account under the mother’s email address which also acts as the TIF account username. If a child lives in multiple homes, both parents have accounts using their email addresses provided to OLOL.

For those of you who have already submitted hours with our Google Form from the website or school newsletter, those hours have been added into your TIF account already, so once you create a password and access your account via the app or the web, you’ll see your logged hours already captured.

For instructions on how to set up your TIF account, please see below. Once in the program, logging your hours is very straightforward, but if you have any questions about the program, please contact Megan Lehmann at Megan.Lehmann05@gmail.com.

Educating In Mind, Body & Spirit

Our middle school students and their teachers were learning today in mind, body and spirit at Camp Tekakwitha.

The day was spent getting to know the other students, working together on various tasks, learning new skills and spending time in guided meditation.

The students created turtle keychains, which was a symbol of the Mohawk tribe that St. Kateri belonged to. They had the opportunity to try archery, which for many was a first. Then, they worked together to transport a ball while it was balancing on a foam base.

It was a great experience and a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors.

Thank you Camp Tekakwitha for an awesome day!

Parent Homecoming 2025

The school year is off to a great start and our parents took some time to visit with old friends and make new ones at the OLOL Parent Homecoming 2025. An evening of fun and laughter in the school gymnasium!

The evening included the Homecoming Court featuring the King and Queen!

Thank you to everyone who attended and the parents who coordinate this event and the ‘themes’ each year! Fun for all …

A Mass of Thanksgiving

Where two or more are gathered in his name ~ a “Mass of Thanksgiving to God” for the generosity of our parishioners — who will enjoy anonymity in their giving for the school capital projects from the Summer of 2025.

It should be noted: at this Mass, we gathered in gratitude for ALL PARISHIONERS who offer their time, talent and treasure to advance the Christ-Centered-Mission at Lourdes.

This Mass on the Grass followed by Lunch on the Lawn provided us an opportunity to join together with Abbot Dane Radecki, O.Praem, Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem, Fr. Seamus Neilson, O.Praem and Fr. Brad Vanden Branden O.Praem in prayer, conversation, food and an opportunity to tour the school.

It was a glorious day! We are grateful to everyone who shared their time and talents throughout the summer and for today’s celebration!

Our Lady of Lourdes Unveils New Logo

Our new school logo was revealed to our school families and neighbors surrounding Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in anticipation of our Open House/Meet the Teacher night.

These changes honor our rich Catholic heritage while embracing the future with confidence and faith. They reflect who we are today — and who we are called to be for generations to come.

Thank YOU for being a vital part of our Lourdes community. Together, we are writing the next chapter in our school’s incredible story with Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

New Dropoff / Pickup for School Year

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. There are many wonderful changes this school year and we all know that change can be challenging. We appreciate your patience and grace as we embark on this journey together. We have been blessed to have a unified school arrival and dismissal time for our elementary and middle school students. This opportunity has resulted in a change of our drop-off and pick-up procedures. Our new school hours are 8:00am to 3:00pm. Arrival time will begin at 7:45am. Please do not drop off students before that time to ensure safety for all. Our staff members will not be outside to supervise students until that time.

Dropoff will occur on the NORTH side of school (as in prior years) and on the SOUTH side of church.

All BUS traffic will be on the SOUTH side of church.

We will be having staggered dismissal times for pickup.

  • Early Childhood will be dismissed at 2:50pm.
  • Elementary will be dismissed at 2:55pm
  • Middle School (grades 5-8) will be dismissed at 3:00pm.

Dismissal will take place on the SOUTH SIDE of the church in the south church parking lot. Please follow the map for instructions as to where to park and walk up to pick up your students. There is a designated “Pick Up Zone” on the far west side of the parking lot.

Please share this information with any of the wonderful family members or friends that will be picking up your children at the end of the school day. We want to make this transition as smooth as we can for everyone and as safe as we can for our cavaliers.

When picking up or dropping off your child during the school day, please continue to drop off your child and bring them to the school office for checkin/checkout. Thank You

Please contact the school office with any questions.
