The Future Is So Bright

There is so much to learn for our first graders at Our Lady of Lourdes School. Whether they are learning in their classroom, real-life experiences inside and outside, projects with help from their parents, parish activities and more!

Last week, some of the first grade educational activities included:

– A lesson on the eclipse that is not only educational, fun, but tasty too. Oreos = sun and moon.

– Viewing the solar eclipse and learning about the importance of protecting our eyes with the eclipse glasses.

– Learn about a Saint and share with our friends.

– Be a Saint

– Family, Faith and Fun Night at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (those in attendance donated their favorite items for someone else to use).

– Severe weather awareness week has us practicing to be prepared of what to do in the event of severe weather or tornado.

– Kindness is something we all can learn and share!
