On April 7, Mrs. LaCrosse and Ms. Healy from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Faith Formation/Youth Ministry programs led a retreat for our Middle School students. The theme for the retreat was HOPE.
The students enjoyed many activities throughout the day. A friendly competition of Rock, Paper, Scissors started the day to promote positive comments and participation.
The main speaker for the day shared her story of life growing up in a troubled home and finding herself in a dark place through her teenage years. She is thankful that she met the right people, at the right time, in the right place, to lead her to the church and positive changes in her life. She is excited to be confirmed as an adult this weekend.
The students gathered to pray and enjoy quiet time to reflect on the day, while in the presence of God, during Adoration with Fr. Jim.
An afternoon of Praise and Worship music led by the Healy family was enjoyed by all.
The last activity of the day was offering hope in making care packages for the homeless. They decorated bags, made cards and filled the bags with items for those in need to enjoy during the day.
Thank you to everyone who had a part in planning and making the day meaningful. ![]()
