A day in the life of a kindergarten student.
There is so much to learn and do. We joined Ms. Johnston and the students in assisting them in learning how to handle, logon and use the tablets in their classroom for the STAR assessment. After learning how to use the device, they were able to select a story to be read to them. As important as it is to learn how to use the device, they also need to learn how to safely return the device and headphones for its next use.
Then, they were able to choose a book and a place to read in their classroom.
Finally, it was time to prepare for their next class. They are learning their line order, making a straight line and reminding everyone of the voice level in the hallway - zero!
Ms. Johnston's students look like they are settling into the routine of kindergarten. Keep up the great work and we look forward to seeing what you will learn next.
