Kickoff to Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week is a national celebration of Catholic education in the United States that recognizes the unique opportunity of Catholic education. The theme for the week is Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community. The official start of Catholic Schools week begins on Sunday, January 26 through Saturday, February 1.

This year, we are kicking off the week of events on Saturday, January 25 with the Annual Family Dance. Bring the entire family! Fun for all ages! Please RSVP; see the Lourdes Letter for more information.

On Sunday, we celebrate the day with mass at 8:15AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. We celebrate and thank our parishioners for all that they do to support Catholic education! Students have an opportunity to assist with the mass as altar servers, readers and choir members. Signup today! Please refer to the Lourdes Letter for the signup link and latest information.

Following the 8:15AM mass, we are hosting a Kid’s Cookie Baking Contest in the Fr. Kratz Social Hall. Students who enter will be showcasing their favorite cookie for judging. We have three celebrity teacher judges and everyone who visits the social hall will have an opportunity to vote for one of the entries! Students, please submit your entry to reserve a spot at the Kid’s Cookie Baking Contest!

More details coming soon of events planned throughout the week!

In addition to these events, enrollment opens for the 2025-2026 school year on Sunday, January 26.

There is so much to celebrate as a Catholic School!
