An evening to remember … what began 20+ years ago when a student asked Mrs. Lewis if they could have a school musical. Thursday evening began with Spring Band Concert followed by the musical production of Once Upon A Leprechaun.
The evening began with performances by the fourth grade band, the fifth and sixth grade band, the seventh and eighth grade band and the combined 5-8 band.
The musical included performances by students from grades kindergarten through the eighth grade. The musical was set in the time of a Magical Irish Season in the land of Ire, where the bold hero seeks his heroine and finds leprechauns. The cast was comprised of 66 roles in this performance and had several students playing multiple roles to make tonight’s production come alive!
Everyone enjoyed the upbeat chorus lines of “Applesauce and butter brickle”!
We thank all the students for their efforts in preparing for this performance that began shortly after the Christmas concert.
