About Me

Hello! I am Mrs. Stephanie Johnson and I teach 4th grade math, science, and social studies in the afternoons, and teach 5th and 6th grade ELA in the mornings. I'm so excited to work with 4th-6th grade this year but I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself.

This year will be my 4th year at OLOL, my 5th year with GRACE, and my 8th year in education. I am from the area, growing up in the Howard-Suamico School District, and graduated from Bay Port High School. I went to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and majored in Elementary Education, the French Language, and minored in Music. In college I also had the opportunity to travel abroad. I spent a sememster in France where I also traveled to Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Spain, and England. Furthermore, I spent a summer in Japan as a camp counselor helping Japenese students learn the English Language. These experiences defintely fueled my passion for travel.

I have been married to my amazing husband Steve for 7 years and we have a rescue dog named Minnie and 9 chickens. When I'm not in school, I actually run my own bakery business from my home. I specialize in custom decorated sugar cookies. In addition, I love everything Disney and Harry Potter. I also love to read, go see Broadway shows, travel, and go hiking/camping with my family.
