It’s a beautiful thing when a dream becomes reality, especially when parents contribute their time, energy, and resources to make it happen. Mrs. Schmidt's wish was for a bench, but the parents went above and beyond and made a wooden frame for the book crates to fit inside.
Now, the second graders in Mrs. Schmidt's classroom love the soft bench space to read, study their math facts and practice their prayers. There is so much to learn in second grade as they are preparing for the sacraments of reconciliation and first communion.
